We believe your data belongs to you. Nomad Reminder is designed to keep your personal information private and secure.
Your Reminder Data
The information you enter into the App (reminders, notes, preferences) is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to your personal iCloud account. We do not collect, store, or have access to your reminder data or preferences on our servers.
- Reminder Data: Titles, notes, dates, times, timezones, locations, and recurrence settings are stored only on your device and your personal iCloud account.
- Preferences: App settings, favorite timezones, and display preferences remain on your device.
Information We Collect
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality.
- Usage Data: Basic analytics about app usage to improve the user experience.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Improve and optimize the App
- Respond to your support requests
- Display advertisements through third-party advertising providers in the free version of the App
Data Storage and Security
Your reminder data is stored:
- Locally: On your device using Apple's SwiftData framework
- iCloud: If you have iCloud sync enabled, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit
We do not have access to your iCloud data. Your data is protected by Apple's security measures and your Apple ID credentials.
Third-Party Services
Advertising (Free Version)
The free version of Nomad Reminder displays ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect and use data for personalized advertising. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Premium users do not see any advertisements.
Apple Services
- iCloud: For data synchronization
- App Store: For purchases and subscriptions
- Apple Maps: For location search (optional)
Data Sharing

- To protect our rights or the safety of users

- Export: Export your reminders and history to a JSON file

Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
